Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. Her father was a school teacher while her mother was mother at home. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick was a gifted entertainer and singer at a young age. She put on shows with puppets for her neighbors. In the year she turned 6, McCormick won her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called McCormick to inquire whether she was keen to work in showbusiness. McCormick got her first big job in 1964 when she appeared in a television commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show Wind It Up And It Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the youngest daughter of the three towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show lasted five seasons. In her memoir Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the shows fifth season she nearly lost her virginity to her screen brother and co-star Barry Williams. He was 19. She was just 16. The two of us could have been in a couple, she added. But the timing wasn't just right.
